Chemitorium 3.0

With this free Organic Chemistry Analysis and Visualisation Tool you can write chemical formulas and let the computer calculate the threedimensional structure of the molecule, compute atomic properties and export your results as image or video files.
The 3d-view uses a state-of-the-art shader-enabled realtime renderer to generate high-quality images, optionally with reflection and wobbling effects and full antialiasing. With a special export module, you can render animations as avi-videos. The export module uses fixed-framerate-timing to prevent the common timing errors and frame gaps that occur if you simply record a realtime output with a screen capture program.

Controls



 - general -

[middle mouse button] - Move view

[mouse wheel] - Zoom

[letter key] - type the beginning of the name of an element or it's abbreviation on your keyboard to select it



 - editing mode -

[left mouse button] - Create atom

[right mouse button] - Drag to create binding - drag again to remove it

[shift] - Hold shift and drag rmb to create double binding

[alt/control] - Hold alt or control and drag rmb to create triple binding



 - move mode -

[left mouse button] - Select / Move atoms

[shift + lmb] - Select multiple atoms by holding shift and clicking the atoms you want to select
